These Salted Chocolate Chip cookies are the absolute BEST! They're indulgent and delicious without being too heavy. The edges are crisp with a gooey and soft center.
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups gluten-free flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 cups dark chocolate chunks
- sea salt flakes, for topping
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside
In a large mixing bowl, add in your softened butter and sugar
Cream together with a hand or stand mixer until fully combined
Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy with a hand mixer
Add in the gluten-free flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt (incorporate slowly, mixing in a little bit at a time)
Fold in the chocolate chunks until spread evenly throughout the batter
Scoop 2-3 tbsp of dough at a time and roll into balls. place them evenly spaced on the prepared cookie sheets
Bake for ~8 minutes until the edges are golden but not a dark brown
Let the cookies sit on the tray for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack
Let cool slightly and enjoy!
