Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

These Salted Chocolate Chip cookies are the absolute BEST! They're indulgent and delicious without being too heavy. The edges are crisp with a gooey and soft center.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chunks
  • sea salt flakes, for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside
  • In a large mixing bowl, add in your softened butter and sugar
  • Cream together with a hand or stand mixer until fully combined
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy with a hand mixer
  • Add in the gluten-free flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt (incorporate slowly, mixing in a little bit at a time)
  • Fold in the chocolate chunks until spread evenly throughout the batter
  • Scoop 2-3 tbsp of dough at a time and roll into balls. place them evenly spaced on the prepared cookie sheets
  • Bake for ~8 minutes until the edges are golden but not a dark brown
  • Let the cookies sit on the tray for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack
  • Let cool slightly and enjoy!
