Almond Joy Overnight Oats are an easy, nutritious and delicious recipe to start the day. From the chocolate chips to the coconut, it is a match made in heaven paired with the almond slivers.
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate morsels, divided
- 1 cup almond milk , unsweetened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp almond slices / slivers, divided
- 1 tbsp coconut flakes, divided
In a large mason jar or sealable glass container, add the rolled oats Add in 1/2 tbsp of the coconut flakes, 1/2 tbsp of mini chocolate chips, the chia seeds, 1/2 tbsp of almond slivers and ground cinnamon Mix until combined
Pour in the almond milk, vanilla extract and maple syrup
Mix it all together until combined
Put the mason jar top and put into the fridge overnight
When you're ready to eat, remove the jar from the fridge and give it a mix
Add the overnight oats to a bowl
Top with remaining sliced almonds, coconut flakes and chocolate chips to enhance the Almond Joy flavor
