Almond Joy Overnight Oats

Almond Joy Overnight Oats are an easy, nutritious and delicious recipe to start the day. From the chocolate chips to the coconut, it is a match made in heaven paired with the almond slivers.

Ingredients
 

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate morsels, divided
  • 1 cup almond milk , unsweetened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp almond slices / slivers, divided
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes, divided

Equipment

  • 1 mason jar OR
  • 1 Sealable Glass Container

Instructions
 

  • In a large mason jar or sealable glass container, add the rolled oats
  • Add in 1/2 tbsp of the coconut flakes, 1/2 tbsp of mini chocolate chips, the chia seeds, 1/2 tbsp of almond slivers and ground cinnamon
  • Mix until combined
  • Pour in the almond milk, vanilla extract and maple syrup
  • Mix it all together until combined
  • Put the mason jar top and put into the fridge overnight
  • When you're ready to eat, remove the jar from the fridge and give it a mix
  • Add the overnight oats to a bowl
  • Top with remaining sliced almonds, coconut flakes and chocolate chips to enhance the Almond Joy flavor
  • Enjoy!
