Chocolate Protein Balls without Oats

Yield: 10 Protein Balls
Chocolate Protein Balls are the perfect bite when you want a healthy dessert or need a boost during the day. They can be made ahead of time and are filled with protein!

Ingredients
 

  • 1/4 cup date syrup, pitted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 servings chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut, for rolling

Equipment

  • food processer

Instructions
 

  • Start by adding all the liquid ingredients to the food processor
  • Add in the remaining ingredients
  • Pulse until you get a smooth texture and all of the ingredients are fully combined
  • The texture should be slightly sticky and able to form into balls
  • Grab about 1.5 tbsp of the mixture and roll into balls
  • Continue until all the dough is used up, it should make about 10 Chocolate Protein Balls
  • Optional, but you can put them in the fridge for 30 minutes to set more before eating. See storage recommendations in the FAQ section.
