Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

This is the perfect Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting recipe. Made with cream cheese, salted butter and vanilla paste for the ideal balance of flavors.
It works flawlessly on top of cakes, cupcakes, brownies and even cookies!

Ingredients
 

  • 8 oz Plain Cream Cheese, softened to room temp
  • 1/2 cup Salted Butter, softened to room temp
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Paste, or Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • To a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and butter
  • Blend using an electric hand mixer until combined
  • Add 1 cup of the powdered sugar and vanilla paste (or vanilla extract)
  • Blend again until incorporated
  • Add another cup of powdered sugar
  • Mix until combined
  • Add the last cup of powdered sugar
  • Blend until combined, scraping the sides as needed and making sure there are no clumps
