Single Serve Brownie with Protein Powder

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 1 brownie
This Single Serve Brownie with Protein Powder is my go-to dessert when I'm craving something indulgent that's also good for me. It's made with simple ingredients and is easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 scoop protein powder, (should be about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate morsels

Equipment

  • oven-safe mug / small ramekin (6 or 8 oz)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Mix your wet ingredients together in a bowl
  • Add the protein powder and mix
  • Fold in the cocoa powder and then the chocolate chips
  • Transfer to a small ramekin or oven-safe dish
  • (Optional) Top with a few extra chocolate chips (more is always better when it comes to chocolate!)
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes. The center may still be slightly gooey (I like that), however, it will continue to bake in the ramekin for a bit after removing from the oven.
  • Remove from the oven and top with flakey sea salt
  • Let cool slightly
  • Grab a spoon and enjoy!
