This Gluten Free Hash Browns in Oven recipe is perfect when you want to have a delicious, healthy and nutritious brunch at home. Using only simple and minimal ingredients, this recipe is easy to make and will fuel your body with nutrients!
- 1 large Sweet potato, grated
- 1 Egg
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp granulated onion
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F
Grate your sweet potato into a medium bowl
Add in the egg and seasonings
Mix the sweet potato and other ingredients until combined
Grab a baking tray and line it with aluminum foil
Spray the foil with non-stick so that they hash brown patties flip easily
Scoop about 1/3 to 1/2 cup of sweet potato mixture and form into a patty
This usually makes 4 patties but will vary depending on the size you make
Add the patty onto the lined baking tray about 1-2 inches apart
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes then flip and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes
Remove from the oven and pair with your favorite toppings! I like to add eggs, green onions and hot sauce. However, you can add anything your heart desires.
