This Chocolate Almond Bark with Cherries is a delicious sweet treat. It's easy to make, made with simple ingredients and the perfect sweet and salty combination.
- 1 cup dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup dark cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
- flaky sea salt for topping, optional
If needed, pit and half your sweet dark cherries
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and coconut oil at 30 second increments until melted, mix in between each session
Line a small baking tray with parchment paper
Pour the chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread out into a thin, even layer
Add the cherry halves and almond slivered on top so that they are evenly distributed over the chocolate
Add flakey sea salt on top (optional)
Put in the freezer for about 30 minutes
Remove from the freezer
Break the chocolate bark into pieces and enjoy!
