Mint Chocolate Smoothie with Espresso

This Mint Chocolate Smoothie is a delicious and nutritious way to start the day. It's filled with protein and espresso to give you energy for the day ahead.

Ingredients
 

  • 3/4 cup almond milk, or milk of choice
  • 1/8 tsp mint extract
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 serving mint chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp ground flax seeds

Instructions
 

  • Pour the almond milk and mint extract into the blender
  • Add the frozen banana, protein powder and cocoa powder
  • Top with the chia seeds, hemp seeds and flax seeds
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape the sides and blend one more time
  • Pour into a glass and top with cacao nibs (optional)
  • Enjoy!
