Ultra Fudgy M&M Brownies Recipe

Yield: 16 brownies
These Fudgy M&M Brownies are rich and indulgent. Every bite is filled with vibrant M&M candies that add a satisfying crunch; which contrasts the fudge brownie texture. The recipe can be made in one bowl and is a simple, easy-to-make recipe for any holiday.

Ingredients
 

  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted and hot
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup M&M Candies

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper or spray with nonstick
  • Add the hot butter, oil and sugar into a large mixing bowl
  • Whisk quickly until fully combined
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the 2 eggs before adding into the batter
  • Once you add the eggs to the batter, also add the vanilla extract
  • Mix until combined
  • Add in the flour and cocoa powder
  • Mix until JUST combined. (You don't want to over mix the batter so that we get that perfect crinkly brownie top)
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and M&M candies
  • Transfer to the square 8×8 pan that's lined with parchment paper
  • Spread the batter into an even layer
  • Top with extra M&M candies
  • Bake for 20-23 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the center clean
  • Let cool to room temperature
  • Slice and enjoy!
