These Fudgy M&M Brownies are rich and indulgent. Every bite is filled with vibrant M&M candies that add a satisfying crunch; which contrasts the fudge brownie texture. The recipe can be made in one bowl and is a simple, easy-to-make recipe for any holiday.
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted and hot
- 1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup M&M Candies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper or spray with nonstick
Add the hot butter, oil and sugar into a large mixing bowl
Whisk quickly until fully combined
In a separate bowl, whisk the 2 eggs before adding into the batter
Once you add the eggs to the batter, also add the vanilla extract
Mix until combined
Add in the flour and cocoa powder
Mix until JUST combined. (You don't want to over mix the batter so that we get that perfect crinkly brownie top)
Gently fold in the chocolate chips and M&M candies
Transfer to the square 8×8 pan that's lined with parchment paper
Spread the batter into an even layer
Top with extra M&M candies
Bake for 20-23 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the center clean
Let cool to room temperature
Slice and enjoy!
