Homemade Sweet Chex Mix in a bowl.

Sweet Chex Mix Recipe

This Sweet Chex Mix is the perfect snack to munch on or healthier dessert option. It hits all the boxes from chewy and crunchy to salty and sweet. It's easy to make and incredibly delicious!

Ingredients
 

  • 3 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups Pretzels
  • 1 cup Dry Roasted Peanuts
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 2/3 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a small pot, add the honey and mix and heat on low for 2-3 minutes
  • Turn off and remove from heat
  • Add in the dry roasted peanuts
  • Mix until all peanuts are coated
  • Transfer to the baking tray lined with parchment paper
  • Spread into an even layer
  • Bake in the oven 10 minutes
  • Rotate the pan 180 degrees F
  • Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes (Check after 5 minutes to make sure the peanuts are not burning)
  • Remove the tray from the oven and let cool to room temperature 
  • To a large mixing bowl, add the rice chex cereal
  • Add the honey roasted peanuts
  • Mix until combined
  • Add the pretzels, raisins and dark chocolate chips
  • Mix until combined
  • Enjoy!
