Single Serve Apple Crisp

This Single Serve Apple Crisp is the perfect dessert to make when you're craving fall flavors. You don't have to worry about having too many leftovers and every bite is incredibly delicious.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 apple, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Crisp Topping

  • 1/8 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/8 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp salted butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Peel and slice the apple
  • The slices should be about 1 cm thick
  • In a bowl, add the sliced apples with the cinnamon and granulated sugar
  • Mix until combined
  • Add to the bottom of the ramekin. You can place them in rows or just add to the ramekin and flatten to an even layer
  • In a bowl, make the crumble topping
  • Start by melting the butter then combining it with the all purpose flour, rolled oats, dark brown sugar and ground cinnamon
  • It should have a crumbly texture
  • Sprinkle the crumble on top until it covers all the apples
  • Gently press down into an even layer
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 23-25 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly
  • (Optional) Top with vanilla ice cream
  • Enjoy!
