Truffle Parmesan Bread with Tomato

This Truffle Parmesan Bread with Tomato is the perfect snack or appetizer. It is easy to make, delicious and incredibly versatile. You can add your favorite toppings and unique spin to it!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 slice sourdough bread, or any type of bread
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, to drizzle
  • 3 slices tomato
  • black pepper, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 tsp truffle zest, divided
  • 1/4 cup parmesan, shaved or shredded

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
  • Line a small baking tray with aluminum foil
  • Add the slice of bread and drizzle olive oil on top
  • Top with 2-3 thin slices of tomato, ground pepper, sea salt and 1 tsp the truffle zest
  • Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the bread is crisp and the tomato slices are slightly cooked/soft
  • Remove from the oven and top with the shaved parmesan
  • Add more truffle zest and put back in the oven for about 5 minutes
  • Remove from the oven once the cheese has melted
  • Let the toast cool slightly
  • Enjoy!
