Goat Cheese Crostini

This Goat Cheese Crostini recipe is the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The tartness of the goat cheese and cream cheese pairs flawlessly with the honey drizzle and fresh blackberries on top.

Ingredients
 

  • 16 oz Plain Goat Cheese, softened to room temp
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temp
  • 1-2 tbsp Heavy Cream or Half & Half
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Blackberries, for topping
  • Fresh Basil, for topping
  • 8-12 Pumpernickel Crostinis, or other types of crostini

Instructions
 

  • To a food processor, add the goat cheese, cream cheese and 1 tbsp heavy cream (or half & half)
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, the mixture should be relatively thick to pipe
  • If needed, add an additional 1/2-1 tbsp of heavy cream
  • Once fully combined, transfer to a piping bag
  • Cut the tip and pipe the goat cheese on the crostini/bread
  • Drizzle honey on each piece
  • Top with small pieces of fresh basil and blackberries
  • Serve and enjoy!
