This Mango Pico de Gallo is the perfect healthy and refreshing summer snack. Not only is it easy to make but it's absolutely delicious on its own or paired with chips.
- 1 fresh mango, cubed
- 1 heirloom tomato, cubed
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 lemon, juice only
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 avocados, mashed (optional)
Cut the mango and tomato into small chunks
Add to a large mixing bowl and set aside
Dice the red onion and green bell pepper
Add to the bowl and mix until combined
Add the juice of 1 lemon and cayenne pepper
Mix until fully combined and all ingredients are covered with the lemon juice and cayenne pepper
Grab your favorite chips, scoop and enjoy!
(Optional: Top on mashed avocado for a fun and tasty dip/guacamole. Mash the avocado with cayenne pepper, salt and lime juice to taste)
