Parmesan crusted potato recipe is hands down one of the most delicious ways to eat potatoes. the potato halves get crispy and are coated in amazing flavors
- 2 lb gold potatoes or baby potatoes, halved and scored
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- sea salt, to taste
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
Mix the olive oil, grated cheese and seasonings together in a bowl
Coat the bottom of a baking tray with the olive oil mixture
Cut the potatoes in half and score the bottoms of each with 2-4 cuts in each direction depending on the size of the potato (see FAQ section for scoring instructions)
Place face down on the pan and brush the top of the potatoes with olive oil
Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes or until the bottom of the potatoes are nicely golden and crisp
Remove from the oven and let cool until the pan stops sizzling. I typically let them cool for 5-10 minutes
