What’s the trick to getting the perfect circular cookie shape?
One of the biggest questions I get is how I get a perfect circular shape when baking cookies.
I always use my cookie scooper to measure out 2 tbsp of cookie dough every time. This not only helps in getting the circular shape but also making sure the cookies are all the same size.
Another trick I use to get circular cookies is grabbing a large circular cookie cutter or mason jar lid.
Right when the cookies come out of the oven, put the cookie cutter around the cookie. Move it in circular motion until all sides of the cookie are perfectly round and smooth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Use all purpose gluten free flour instead of regular all purpose flour.
The butter to sugar ratio is what will create the chewiness of these cookies. In addition, the melted butter enhances the chewiness of the cookie
Adding melted butter instead of softened butter will result in a chewier cookie. I also think it is easier to incorporate into the batter.
The cookies should be removed from the oven when the edges have a light crisp but the center is still soft. Once removed from the oven, they will continue to bake in the middle until moved to the cooling rack (after 5 minutes).
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
