When the weather gets hot, all I want for breakfast or lunch is a smoothie to cool off!

They’re refreshing and incredibly easy to make.

However, one of my favorite parts about a smoothie is that you can make them using any fruit you have on hand.

I tend to keep frozen bananas in my freezer at all times because they are a major key in making a thick, creamy smoothie.

This Mango Strawberry and Banana Smoothie is sure to be a new favorite in your smoothie rotation!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best liquid to use for smoothies?

I love to use coconut water in this recipe. However, I also use almond milk a lot of the time. Both are delicious and work with many flavors!

Can I use fresh instead of frozen fruit?

No, the fresh fruit won’t create a thick and creamy smoothie.

What is the best protein powder to add to smoothies?

I prefer to use a vanilla or unflavored protein powder. You can use a whey protein powder or vegan friendly protein powder as both will work. One I use a lot is Orgain’s Vanilla Protein Powder.

Can I make this smoothie ahead of time?

You can! However, I recommend making only one day prior or the night before consuming for ultimate freshness.

How long can I store this smoothie?

Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
