I would have never thought to dust sliders with powdered sugar, but I am so glad that is the signature of this recipe. It adds just the right amount of sweetness to each bite.

But in all serious, there are so many reasons to love this slider recipe.

First, this recipe is so easy to make. All you need is a few ingredients and it comes together in less than 30 minutes.

Another reason to love this recipe is its complexity of flavors.

The ham and turkey pair perfectly with the salty swiss cheese. However, the sweetness of the powdered sugar and tart raspberry jam brings it all together.

How to Make Monte Cristo Sliders

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Slice the Hawaiian Rolls in half to create two layers
  3. On the bottom layer, drizzle honey mustard
  4. Next, layer slices of swiss cheese to cover the bread (I did 4 slices)
  5. Add 6-8 slices of deli ham 
  6. Next, add 6-8 slices deli turkey
  7. Spread 3-4 tbsp of raspberry jam on top of the turkey in an even layer
  8. Add another layer of swiss cheese slices (about 4 slices)
  9. Put the top layer of the Hawaiian rolls back on
  10. Bake in the over for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted
  11. Remove from the oven
  12. Slice
  13. (Optional) Add a dusting of powdered sugar
  14. Enjoy!

  • 1/3 lb Maple Glazed Ham Deli Slices, thinly sliced
  • 6-8 slices Baby Swiss Deli Cheese

  • 1/4 cup Raspberry Jam, plus extra for dipping
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar, optional for dusting
