Frequently Asked Questions
You could try this recipe with any frozen fruit!
You can substitute the maple syrup and honey with date syrup, another liquid sweetener or even some coconut sugar.
I would try to use the most natural sweetener possible!
You don’t! It’s just to add a little sweetness to the jam but it is just as delicious without it.
If you prefer your jam to not be sweet then omit the sweetener from the recipe. This will not affect the texture of the jam and the fruit will give it a light sweetness naturally.
Up to a week in a closed container in the fridge. I typically use a mason jar to store it.
I love adding it to a stack of pancakes (healthy pancake recipe linked here).
I also love to use it in a PB&J, oatmeal, breakfast bowl or just on a piece of toast!
