This is hands down, this is the BEST apple crisp I have ever made or had. Whether it’s at a restaurant or homemade – this is it!

The reason why it’s so good is because it’s a double the crumble apple crisp. In my opinion, the crumble on top is the best part. It is the perfect contrast to the cinnamon sugary apples underneath.

Last, but definitely not least! this apple crisp is incredibly easy to make. You just need a few simple ingredients and you are ready to roll!

How to Make Gluten Free Apple Crumble

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Slice the apples, you do not have to peel them cut can if you prefer
  3. In a large mixing bowl add the sliced apples, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and vanilla extract
  4. Mix until fully combined and set aside
  5. In a separate mixing bowl, you are going to make the crisp topping
  6. Add the gluten free flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and melted salted butter
  7. Mix until fully combined and the ingredients form into a crumbly texture
  8. Add the apple mixture to a pie baking dish and pour the crumble on top
  9. Spread evenly and press down on the crumble topping lightly until smooth
  10. Bake in the oven for 45-60 minutes until the apples are completely softened and edges of the spiced apple crumble are golden
  11. Let cool for a minimum of 30 minutes
  12. Enjoy on it’s own or pair with some delicious vanilla bean ice cream!
