Using Fresh vs. Frozen Peaches

Peach season is late June to early September, so it’s expected that you might not be able to get fresh peaches at the store when you’re craving this recipe.

In that case, frozen peaches will work as well! In fact, you could use frozen peaches even when fresh peaches are in season.

To use frozen peaches, thaw them before using them in the recipe. Just make sure to let them cool to room temperature before adding to the batter.

Yellow Peaches (these are the most common), White Peaches (similarly to yellow peaches but sweeter due to the lower acidity), Donut Peaches and Nectarines are also a type of peach.

In my opinion, it is always the best to bake with vegan protein powders, specifically a vanilla-flavored vegan protein powder for this recipe.
